Natural spa treatments in the wine country.. The Scene
Pretty in white, this spa hotel is situated just off the main street. It is within walking distance to numerous shops and galleries. While the location is great for exploring local vineyards, this property is a destination unto itself. Guests come to lounge in three mineral baths---a wading pool, a swimming pool and a hot tub Jacuzzi, all featuring mineral water.

The Details
Forty-one light-filled rooms offer views of the Palisades. Mineral water whirlpool Jacuzzis can be found in some, and all include kitchenettes and limited maid service. Décor is traditional, but that's not why people come here. The spa is the main draw. Along with mineral baths, the hotel offers a range of spa treatments. You can enjoy a peat moss, white clay or geo thermal mud bath, a mineral and steam bath, a blanket wrap or a massage. A small conference room accommodates up to 40 people.

Not What I Expected. my mother took my sister and i here to celebrate our birthdays the first weekend in nov. when i made the reservations (back in aug) i initially was going to book two rooms, so my sister and i would be able to sleep, mom snores :) but the girl who took the reservation talked me into another room they have that has 2 bedrooms seperated by a bathroom, perfect i said we'll take it. but when we arrived the room we were checked intro was surprise...not the room i had initially booked. very disappointing.....anyways the next day the 3 of us went for our spa treatments...both mom and sister got great massages and salt scrubs they loved it...i on the other hand was very disappointed with my massage and foot reflexology - which was a weak foot rub - not what i was expecting.

Affordable Rooms. The rooms are clean but strictly motel-style. Ours had a little couch-and-table "sitting room" along with a bedroom. But while the rooms may lack style, the big outdoor swimming pool and spacious hot jacuzzi are wonderful! Lovely to swim and look up at pink sunset clouds drifting around the surrounding Mayacamas mountains. A bit of a walk to get into town. We didn't try the spa services, but there's also a restaurant on the premises serving dinner.
