User Reviews for A Wine Country Salon and Spa

5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended

This salon/spa is a great place to go for personalized service in a cozy atmosphere. The vibe is relaxing without the hustle and bustle of other people getting their treatments next to you. It's just you and Kim and she gives you a great manicure and pedicure. I was surprised when she put glitter on my toes since I usually went with straight color, but from now on I will only have "glitter toes" because it made me feel so feminine and I smile every time I see the sparkle on my toes. I'm hooked!

Pros: personal attention in a cozy setting just blocks from the plaza

Cons: book early, appointments fill up quickly

Kim Barnes' spa is not your hightech looking place. It is cozy, warm and the nail care is outstanding. I haven't had my hair done there, but I highly recommand the body wraps. My favorite is the herbal one, but the others are pretty good too, as are the massages.

Great trim and color! Fantastic manicure and pedicure! After these treatments and a facial, I felt like a new woman!! The salon is cozy and homey, and the gals are friendly and funny. I'm thinking of giving gift certificates to my office staff for christmas!!

Pros: good value, friendly staff, cozy salon

I was disappointed with my visit to this place that advertises itself as a day spa. The look is very dark and some of the staff was very unfriendly. Kim is a good manicurist but I had an awful haircut and there was a lot of gossip. Not relaxing.
