I Love This Place. I’ve only been home for two days and I already want to go back. I went to the Villagio for a wedding so I wasn’t able to enjoy the full range of amenities (like the spa), but what I was able to partake in was fabulous. Each morning you get to start your day off with a complimentary breakfast. The breakfast included a made-to-order omelet bar, a ton of pastries, cereals, oatmeal, fresh fruit, bread pudding and breakfast potatoes, plus coffee tea all kinds of juices and bottomless make-your-own mimosas. In addition to breakfast the inn also served an afternoon tea, complete with tea sandwiches and mini scones. It wasn’t just the food that was great, the rooms were spacious, the bathroom was awesome (I love a good jacuzzi tub) and everything on the site was beautiful. If you get a chance you should take a trip here.

A stylish Wine Country retreat for pleasure-seeking guests.. Located on the Vintage Estate, a 23-acre retreat that's also home to the Mediterranean-inspired Villagio Inn & Spa and the bustling shopping/dining mecca known as V Marketplace, this charming 80-room retreat is a taste of the French countryside with all the modern amenities people have come to expect. With vibrant flowering gardens, a quiet pool area, vintage brick exteriors and sweeping wine country views (including nearby Domaine Chandon), the cluster of villas and conference centers evokes the idyllic landscape of Provence with modern touches. Set along a working vineyard, guestrooms feature wood-burning fireplaces, high wood-beamed ceilings, down comforters, private balconies, oversized sunken whirlpool bathtubs and rustic French accents. To complete the experience, there's Spa Villagio, a soothing two-structure temple devoted to the art of pampering and relaxation.

Recommended. The Vintage Inn is not the best of the best, but it is a nice, well-rounded hotel in a good location for wine county fun. As a whole it's not a quaint facility. We had one of their better rooms (not a suite). The upstairs rooms give you a more open feeling since they have vaulted ceilings, the downstairs (we peeked) look much more cramped.

They have the standard pool, jacuzzi fair and you can use the fitness center across the street and the spa at Villagio. The complimentary breakfast is a step up from most places, with a good selection of warm food, not just pastry and cereal.

The concierge was very helpful with recommendations and wine tours. The location was perfect for dining in at the many great places in Yountville. No driving after a wine-laden dinner, simply walk across the street to your room.
