It is not just the dozen New England-style lodges that lure visitors to this beautiful forested acreage. A thoughtful attention to detail abounds. For example, a resident wine tutor is available by appointment to instruct you in the nuances of the region's number-one tourist draw. Privacy highlights the 85 spacious guest rooms and suites. Accommodations are beautiful, featuring soft hues and painted wood paneling. French doors and fireplaces accent the Hillside Rooms. Some rooms also have private entrances and large terraces with views of the surrounding hills. Along with the expected facilities, such as two swimming pools and tennis courts, the property features a croquet court and a nine-hole golf course. In keeping up with the area's superb culinary reputation, the main lodge houses two highly regarded dining rooms.

Break the bank!. Ridiculously expensive but I'd rather stay nowhere else in the bay area. We love it and we'll create a savings fund to do it on a routine basis!
