Wonderful spot.
We spent three wonderful nights in very comfortably furnished rooms with access to a common parlor featuring books and memorabilia of Ambrose Bierce the celebrated author of the "Devil's Dictionary" and the famous short story "Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge".
The home was beautifully apponted, with an outdoor hot tub, and within minutes walk of downtown restaurants and shops.
Innkeeper John was most gracious, well versed in local lore, and a marvelous guide to the valley wineries -- apparently totalling 650! He is a vintner himself and proudly serves his own label with the evening wine and cheese.
Seriously gourmet breakfasts were prepared by both John and Lisa, and were superb.
We will definitely be back when next we visit Napa.
Napa Valley Charmer. We stayed here for our 5th anniversary and had a great time. The Breakfast was wonderful, the rooms perfect and clean and the evening wine and cheese were great. Our host ( John ) new all about the valley and got us into some great smaller wnieries. We will be back
John and his wife were such a joy to have as guests. We spent a lot of time at the wine and cheese hour laughing with the other guests. Thank you for the great review. I hope to see you for your next anniversary.
