For those who want a wine-country escape without sequestering themselves in the hills, this is a perfect choice. This lovely, small inn sits in the heart of tiny downtown Saint Helena, adjacent to Tomatina restaurant and a quick walk away from the popular Merryvale Winery and Tra Vigne restaurant.

The Details
This romantic setting welcomes upscale travelers. This lobby is homey, with a fireplace and overstuffed sofas. It leads into a traditional boardroom where business meetings can be hosted. Each of the twenty spacious guest rooms has vaulted ceilings. The warm yellow walls are accented by pale green fabrics and tasteful wood furnishings. Some include fireplaces or French doors leading out to balconies. The best rooms have views of the rolling hills out back.
