Steves Hardware

I wrote the previous review and forgot to include the above input. I will add there are many items at Steves that make wonderful gifts at reasonable prices.
- Pros: Excellent merchandise and service.
- Cons: None so far. I'm a regular shopper at Steves.

wide variety, good help

Steve's seems much smaller than it really is--they've got almost all of the small needs of a household or mini-project well-covered, and the staff are central-casting Bob Vila-types who know their stuff and wouldn't intimidate novices. Prices are a little high and you will have to go farther down the valley for major-project items.

- Cons: weak on 'big' items
