Avoid Marini tasting room, it's a HUGE rip off!!. Let me start by saying I love the Louis M. Martini Cabernet Sauvignons, and believe the Napa / Sonoma Cabs offer some of the best value in their price range. I though the winery and tasting room would be similar. Boy was I wrong! Although they offer ONE free tasting, the tasting menu is a huge rip off! The lowest priced tasting is $10.00 and features just three wines, two you can buy in the grocery store for $10.99 each! The other tastings are even more expensive and allow you to only taste 3 wines. The terrior tasting features the Gnarly Vines Zinfandel $80.00 bottle, but its just average and way over hyped. The staff was professional, but just not interested in chatting about the wines or winery. If you know anything about wine, you'll be sorely disappointed by a visit to the Corporate Sellout Louis M. Martini tasting room.
