Great staff, fun tasting room!. The Franciscan Estate wine tasting room is constructed in a cozy western bar style. Adjacent to the tasting room is a courtyard for sitting outside and enjoying a delicous bottle of zinfandel. I found the staff at Franciscan to be extremely knowledgeable, honest, and fun to chat with. The tastings are priced at $5.00 for the classic tasting, and $10.00 for the reserve. I strongly recommend doing the reserve tasting, which features the Mount Veener Reserve Zinfandel, which is just spectacular. Franciscan will even apply your tasting fee to a bottle should you choose to purchase one. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and came away knowing much more about wine!
