This is the sort of mansion that inspires dreams of ownership. Manicured rose gardens and a gazebo embellish the grounds. The interior is a living museum of hand-painted sinks and ceilings, crystal chandeliers and Flemish, hand-carved bedroom sets. While this is a popular destination for intimate weekends away, meeting rooms are available.

The Details
All of the 17 guest rooms have private baths. More than half of the rooms feature hot tubs and fireplaces, and two share a 50-foot balcony. For added luxury, check into one of the Camelot Rooms---adorned with silver and crystal, they are designed to indulge. Mornings begin with a gourmet breakfast in the Grand Salon, where guests can also enjoy afternoon tea and fresh-baked sweets and cookies in the early hours of the evening.
