Napa >Napa River Inn
Luxury, privacy, & Service is what you will find.
My Bfriend and I stayed here fo rthe second time in 2 years. There was some construction going on with the river walk way. They were very upfront about it and sent us an email advise of the construction and offered us 20% off the room rate we had already agreed to pay. Upon checking in we got a beautiful room on the river, but decided to move over to the Embardcardo bacuse the rooms are SOOOO large it's like a condo. The service was great the bell man (Grorge) was apolite young man with excellent manners.
Melissa at the front desk was very professional, they even sent a bottle of win to our room to welcome us! The location is great near quite of few restaurants that we could walk to and we received coupons for several vinyards. The service is great from room service (free breakfast was first class, as was the turn down service at night.
As a business traveler I am use to Hiltons, Marriotts and the occasional Ritz Carlton, but this place is first class, the rate was only $160.00 per night a good value winthin it's self.
Keep driving past this place.... I stayed here for two nights and it felt like being in prison....no privacy in the expensive rooms with people walking past my room windows that overlook the dingy river. There is no sense of this being a hotel, no charming grounds, but rather a college dorm feeling, with the buildings separated from each other....it is not the charm that one would expect, nor expect to pay so much for when visiting the wine country. Keep driving to St. Helena!!!
Reinventing luxury on the grounds of an old mill..
Overlooking the Napa River, this boutique hotel is housed in the former Napa Mill. Offering more than just lodging, it is home to a gourmet market and the full-service Greenhaus European Day Spa. Your visit might coincide with a cabaret theater performance, and in the summer, live jazz bands play on-site.
Daring style dominates the hotel's interior, with a bold palette of deep reds and rich ochres. The whimsical design in this 1884 landmark has an almost gaudy French sensibility, although its fireplaces and exposed brick walls make it feel cozy at the same time. With their views of the river, the guest rooms are marvelously original and offer such personalized extras as grapeseed oil bath amenities. Basics include TVs, voicemail and data ports. The hotel's early 1900s style is carried into the meeting rooms, providing a nice alternative to typically sterile corporate décor.
