They make their own beer

This is a great place to go with friends, and just hang out and have a nice beer, appetizer or entree.

Located right now the river, there is a beautiful view, which includes the Napa Hills. Indoor or outdoor seating is your choice.

The food is all American and California Cuisine. The beer list is very long and detailed. Lots and lots to choice from.

• Cons: can be noisy on weekend nights.

Perfect place to be

Downtown Joes is the perfect place to go for a quick bit to eat and enjoyable glass of beer. The beer selection is amazing to say the least.

My friend and sat upstairs with a few of the river, she ordered the salmon, I ordered the Cobb salad.

The waitress let us subsitute the rice for mashed potatoes, but when our entree came, it was with the rice, which she noticed when she checked on us. Within a few minutes a steaming hot plate of mashed potatoes was on our table, no charge.

Very nice.

The place to see and be seen in Napa

From the variety of microbrews to the DJ playing trendy music to all the eye candy on the dance floor, this is the place to hang in Napa on a Friday or Saturday night. A bit of an upscale, but not too yuppy dance club and microbrewery, Downtown Joe's offers outside seating and a view of the Napa river. Every month a new microbrew is featured by master brewer Lance McLaughlin. Each year Downtown Joe's wins KVYN's award for best singles bar and best night spot. To say this place is a meatmarket is an understatement. If you want a taste of the Napa Valley culture, Joe's has what your looking for.
