Uva Captures Something Special. If you were to write a book on how to run a restaurant, you may want to use Uva as an example. When the new owners took over the restaurant, they also took over the building next door and expanded the dining room. In the new area they put in a bar and small stage for Jazz music. The owners are almost always there and two of the friendliest guys in town. They make you feel special for coming to see them. The atmosphere is lively and the jazz music really makes the place. Uva used to be a locals hangout, but word has gotten out and tourists are enjoying it too. There's no doubt there is better food throughout the valley. But Uva offers a simple and fresh menu with slighlty below the norm prices. There are a few dishes you simply can't pass either.
