Great food and enjoyable atmosphere.. I love this place. I have never had a meal here I didn't like. Last time I tried the risotto with scallops and was very happy with every delightful morsel. The place is always busy with a happy hum. This is a place I feel is a sure bet when I want to entertain. It is always good!!

Uva Captures Something Special. If you were to write a book on how to run a restaurant, you may want to use Uva as an example. When the new owners took over the restaurant, they also took over the building next door and expanded the dining room. In the new area they put in a bar and small stage for Jazz music. The owners are almost always there and two of the friendliest guys in town. They make you feel special for coming to see them. The atmosphere is lively and the jazz music really makes the place. Uva used to be a locals hangout, but word has gotten out and tourists are enjoying it too. There's no doubt there is better food throughout the valley. But Uva offers a simple and fresh menu with slighlty below the norm prices. There are a few dishes you simply can't pass either. You don't go to Uva for just the food, but rather the whole experience. Music, atmosphere and some of the Valley's winery owners and top winemakers.

This Place Is the WORST!!!. I have to say this is one of the worst places I've ever been to. The staff is rude and unaccommodating. The food is outrageously priced for it's quality.

I've traveled to a lot of places and been to wonderful restaurants, but would never recommend this nightmare!

Always delicious, always welcoming. Yes, it gets busy, but there's a good reason. The staff always tries to please, the music is delightful, and the food is delectable. I have dined there often, and always found the ingredients to be fresh and the dishes mouth-watering. A favorite watering hole for locals, this is truly a neighborhood restaurant with a delicious menu. Whether at the bar or at a table, I've never had a bad night here, either in food or service, even during the busiest times. Try the specials!

Good bar, attentive staff, food mediocre. I've eaten here a few times - I really want to like it as it's a nice location, the staff is good, they have live music and you can get a cocktail before dinner but the food is just okay to me. The only thing I've had that was really good is the fried riceballs (they are really good - remind me of being in Sicily). I had fish once and it was overly cooked and dry. Same when I had the pork chop. The other time I had a pasta dish that wasn't memorable. The cesaer salad has no flavor - the Misto salad is okay, rather boring. Fun place but there are just so many other options for really good food.

Delicious without Napa-tude. Uva has fabulous, unique selections (beet ravioli, quail risotto) and warm, friendly service. How nice to enjoy fine Napa cuisine without all the fussy pretension that

one usually has to endure for such quality food.

Complete turnaround!. Uva has recently changed hands, and the new owners are so wonderful! Not only has the food improved, but the service and ambiance is 110% better! I can not encourage you enough to go in and see for yourself! In my oppinion they have the best pasta in Napa!
