Great food and enjoyable atmosphere.

I love this place. I have never had a meal here I didn't like. Last time I tried the risotto with scallops and was very happy with every delightful morsel. The place is always busy with a happy hum. This is a place I feel is a sure bet when I want to entertain. It is always good!!

Uva Captures Something Special

If you were to write a book on how to run a restaurant, you may want to use Uva as an example. When the new owners took over the restaurant, they also took over the building next door and expanded the dining room. In the new area they put in a bar and small stage for Jazz music. The owners are almost always there and two of the friendliest guys in town. They make you feel special for coming to see them. The atmosphere is lively and the jazz music really makes the place. Uva used to be a locals hangout, but word has gotten out and tourists are enjoying it too. There's no doubt there is better food throughout the valley. But Uva offers a simple and fresh menu with slighlty below the norm prices. There are a few dishes you simply can't pass either. You don't go to Uva for just the food, but rather the whole experience. Music, atmosphere and some of the Valley's winery owners and top winemakers.

This Place Is the WORST!!!

I have to say this is one of the worst places I've ever been to. The staff is rude and unaccommodating. The food is outrageously priced for it's quality.
I've traveled to a lot of places and been to wonderful restaurants, but would never recommend this nightmare!
- Pros: Music is ok
- Cons: The restaurant owner / manager is an idiot...he can't reconcile a bill.
