Flavors of the French countryside in the heart of Napa's wine country.. Surrounded by lawns and gardens, this idyllic B&B looks as if it was lifted right out of a greeting card. Reminiscent of a French Provençal guesthouse, there are just five rooms in this pretty home, each of which has a private bathroom, individual balcony and fireplace that's lit during the cooler months to herald your arrival. Four of the rooms feature knotty pine ceilings, shabby-chic wall coverings and antiques. The fifth is more contemporary, with white walls and fun touches like a bright-blue stuffed armchair. The guest lounge is done in more subdued tones and is a pleasant place to relax. In the morning, guests are treated to a full breakfast prepared by the innkeeper, featuring house specialties such as apple-cranberry-pecan bread pudding with vanilla custard Sauce or oatmeal brulee, along with fresh-baked desserts.
