Wonderful Food & Service. I am a Napa local and have found it few and far between to find a great place to eat that is consistantly changing and perfecting itself. Through out the years I have seen many restaurants come and go in the valley. This is one place I have always enjoyed going back to and partaking of their daily specials.

A vine-themed dining room, herb-planted patio and attached wine shop lend a very Napa Valley vibe to this Wine Country restaurant.. Snuggle up by a roaring fire in the bar or relax in the sunny dining room, a large open space that manages to feel intimate and cozy. A sunny patio opens up to a view of vineyards and olive trees--a perfect venue to hunker down for a dreamy alfresco meal after an afternoon of wine tasting. A seasonal menu showcases local ingredients--some from the restaurant's own garden--with Asian and Mediterranean accents. Start out with the ruby gems of nori-crusted tuna sashimi, or foie gras seared with quince compote. Shredded duck confit salad is balanced with sweet cayenne walnuts and mustard-sherry vinaigrette. Roasted vegetable terrine seems oddly paired with a vegan cashew sauce. More substantial entrees are best, such as flatiron steak topped with creamy blue cheese and red wine sauce; and the crunchy texture of pepita-crusted mahi mahi. For desserts, try the crème brulee trio, with lemon, green tea and honey.

Food Fantastic. Went there for my birthday and the food was absolutely fantastic. The 3 of us each got something different and all 3 dishes were superb. I know low lighting is a better ambience, but there is low lighting and then there is not being able to read your menu. The wine shop is great and has some fantastic little gifts in it. We plan to go back soon.

Great Food & Service!. I had a wonderful time eatting at BRIX. The food was great, priced gently, and they have a wine list to die for. I love the seasonal focus!

2 Times and Still a Charm. I like the rustic look of this restaurant. It has a large dining room that can be a bit noisy, but not to the point of interferring with my romantic dinner for two. The food is quite unusual, a mixture of sauces and spices. On my most recent visit, I had the Chilean Sea Bass which was superb and my boyfriend had the halibut, which had a heavier sauce and was also quite delicious. Our waiter was very attentive and made our experience very enjoyable. The prices are not inexpensive, but I feel the quality was very high. There are many wines available, both with dinner and for sale in the accompanying shop. The prices for bottles of wine in the shop seemed to be very competitive. The shop also sells ceramics and other gift items.
