As an extension of Pica Pica Maize Kitchen, one of the only Venezuelan eateries in California, this colorful bar serves up vibrant Latin libations and in the casual vein of its parent eatery. A sturdy, reclaimed wood counter anchors the prime market location, alluring shoppers with its tropical hues and exotic fruit bowls. Bar food is distinct, with munchies like arepas sliders (mini corn flatbread), yucca fries and baby scallop ceviche. Sangria highlights the beer and wine list, with most groups lingering over icy pitchers. Blended fruit concoctions called shakers make for a refreshing, alcohol free sip.
