Napa finally has Indian Cuisine.
I have been wondering how long it was going to take before Napa got indian cuisine and now they have an awsome place to go. The food is excellent. The tandori chicken is a whole thigh and leg and is cooked perfectly. The lamb vindaloo is perfectly spiced. I like the lunch menu but it's a bit pricey to be eating there often. Parking is tough in the afternoon since all the parking in front seems to be 20 minute but there is a parking lot accross the street. You must go there and try it out!

Indian resto uses fresh ingredients in authentic street food.
In an attempt to break away from the rich, caloric fare of most American-Indian restaurants, Neela focuses on fresh ingredients prepared in a light, contemporary style. Washed blues and red walls frame a warm, radiant space with cultural touches like antique murals and a Ganesh statue at the door. Dishes are boldly distinct but decidedly upscale. Chota Haazari (small plates similar to tapas) are sophisticated inventions like poached lamb chops with coriander and mango or potato croquettes with pumpin-tomato chutney. Cumin-specked basmati rice and signature naans compliment larger menu mainstays like curries and tandoori-oven fired treats.
