Chef Cindy Pawlcyn, owner of Napa mainstays like Mustard's Grill and Cindy's Backstreet Kitchen, fuses her hospitable style with a kaleidoscopic array of fish flavors. The airy, nautical-themed interior looks out on a rustic 80-person patio, flanked by mulberry trees and an organic vegetable patch. Napa casuals shoot oysters from the San Francisco-style raw bar, while others find comfort in the classic sushi menu. Composed fish courses offer California flair, with dishes like sweet shrimp mac-and-cheese, wood-grilled kanpachi salad on Napa cabbage, and arctic char doused in fennel-pomegranate jus.
