How anyone can be a bartender in the US and not know how to properly make a mojito is beyond me. I have travelled all over the world and never seen the type of incompetence and lack of personablity that exists at this dump pretending to be trendy. I would expect to find this type of ignorance and horrific service in LA or Dallas, but not a little tourist trap town such as Healdsburg. The waitstaff and hostess were adequate and food edible, but the attitude and stupidity of the bartender are inexcusable. I will tell everyone I know to avoid this tragedy.

Barndiva is the quintessential Sonoma County restaurant; it has gorgeous outdoor seating, stylish indoor seating, and food for both to make your mouth water. We sat outside, and the atmosphere was perfect for a lunch in the wine country. We sat in the sun, shaded by an umbrella, eating our pleasantly tasty appetizers and delicious entrees amidst the cool breeze. The wait staff was diligent and helpful, even sharing a few entertaining anecdotes. Barndiva was trendy and serene, you will leave feeing satisfied and renewed. • Recommendation: Crispy duck salad, steak frites, and the dark and light chocolate slice.

Pros: Great area, good service, loved the menu.

Cons: Slightly expensive, but worth it.
