Wonderful experience. What a great spot. We weekend in Napa and are always searching for restaurants that are not the typical tourist haven. Fume is great local spot. Since it was our first time at Fume I asked the hostess about the menu. She was very friendly and answered my questions with smiles. Our server was equally friendly and hospitable. The food was terrific. We had the risotto with chantelle mushrooms and aspargus. It was flavorful and the portion generous. The salmon wrapped in prosciutto served over mashed potatos was equally tasty. The wine list was interesting. They serve wines from Italy, Spain, California, Washington and France. The price points were reasonable too. Try the creme brulee sampler. It's included vanilla, chocolate, and cherry. This is a great place for a terrific meal. We'll be back.

Don't miss it!. I've been to this great little restaurant many times and have NEVER had anything that was less than SUPERB! The food is spectacular, the service is stellar and the ambience is wonderful. Outside seating is lovely. AND, they are VERY pet friendly! Whenver we go there, they bring my dog his own waterdish and the last time we were there, my dog was in his carrier behind the table (outside of course), and I must have had 4 different servers come over to ask if my dog needed water. Incredibly attentive! This is the one place I always have to visit when I'm in the Napa Valley! You won't be disappointed!

Delicious food, though the artwork was suspect. This is a great place to eat and quite popular. They have an extensive wine list and the food was delicious. My partner and I had the crab cakes appetizer and that was delicious. He had the short ribs which were falling off the bone tender. I had the halibut which was very tasty, though the rice was a bit undercooked. The piece de resistence was the trio of creme brulee, and quite a large serving at that. Easily could have been three individual servings of the dessert. The chocolate one was to die for! Make reservations!
