The Background
Renowned for its zinfandel production, this relatively new winery (established in 1976) has grown into its own. What was once a tiny, dimly lit tasting room has expanded into a sleek area equipped with a long tasting bar and shiny new merchandise sporting the famous raven logo and the bold motto "No Wimpy Wines."
The Experience
Friendly connoisseurs are more than happy to take you on a "zinfandel odyssey" at the tasting counter. Start by sampling a light, fruity variety and end with a bold, slap-in-the-face-spicy vintage at the opposite end of the spectrum. The flagship Sonoma County zinfandel is somewhere in between.
