I asked Henry to prepare my 2006 taxes, and unfortunately I was very disappointed with the service. Although my tax situation was a bit complex as I had state returns to file for both California and New York, Henry made easy-to-avoid mistakes that ended up costing me a lot of money. For example, he asked the New York State tax department to refund tax I had paid to New York city - an oversight that required me to wait for over 6 months for the New York state folks to point out the obvious error. In addition to the lack of attention to detail, Henry's practice was not very aggressive at finding all the deductions. Even after this mistake, I was able to identify several thousand $ of deductions that Henry had overlooked - and all I did was use TaxCut pro. Save time and money and do your taxes yourself if you can.

Cons: Not Competent, works only a few days a week, overlooks easy deductions
