Uptown polish with small-town charm.. The Scene
A town of only 3,500 residents, Yountville is admittedly small in size, but it is surprisingly big on luxury. It is famous for antique shopping and The French Laundry, one of the most exclusive restaurants in the United States. This "village", as locals like to call it, is just north of Napa and an excellent base for exploring the vineyards of Northern California.

The Details
Like many wine-country B&Bs, this property pleasantly blends the styles of rural America with Old World Europe. The hotel's three formidable stone and brick buildings are covered in ivy and house 13 intimate guest rooms. Bucolic trompe l'eoil artwork adorns the walls of each room, enhancing the French provincial décor. While all have a private bath, some rooms come with patios, Jacuzzi tubs and working fireplaces. Rates include a full breakfast and an afternoon wine and cheese service.
